Blue Ribbon Cleaning Company, Inc., a family-owned and locally-operated enterprise, has been a prominent figure in the commercial cleaning sector of Central Florida since its establishment in 1985 by Jay and Bernardine Thomas. Incorporated in 1996, the company has built a legacy spanning three decades, upholding a commitment to excellence in providing top-notch janitorial services to the business community of Marion County.

A legacy of pursuing the highest standards of clean
Blue Ribbon has its own in-house training program based on the CIMS (Cleaning Industry Management) standards which is approved by ISSA (International Sanitary Supply Association), the leading worldwide trade association for the cleaning industry.
All employees are required to take the annual Janitorial Employee Safety Program (CIMS Approved). Supervisor provides a monthly (tailgate) training at individual jobs sites as needed.
New hired employees are required to receive our interactive training video certification. Once they pass the background and drug testing, they are assigned to a team leader/ supervisor for a minimum one week of on-the-job training. The team leader/ supervisor may require them to train on the job for up to 3 weeks before letting them work independently.
